Sleipnir, Odin's Steed: Small Pewter Viking Bracelet
Sleipnir, Odin's Steed: Small Pewter Viking Bracelet
Small Sleipnir Bracelet
Sleipnir, Odin's faithful steed, is an eight legged horse from Norse mythology. This small horse head bracelet is carved in the Ringerike style, inspired by Viking age artefacts.
For Vikings, horses were more than just beasts of burden. They were considered to be transcendent, able to provide a connection between mortals and mythological beings, trusted to carry the gods between worlds and also to act as an intermediary connecting man with the spiritual and supernatural realms.
Made and hand finished by Viking experts in Scotland, the twisted band tapers slightly from its centre, similar to a number from the Viking period.
Designed to be worn loose and adjustable only once, it can be bent with gentle, even pressure until it slides onto your wrist.
Perfect for the Norseman or Norsewoman who can feel that Viking urge charging through them, it'll add some historic Nordic style to your attire.
