This circle pattern money ring is a replica of a bangle that Vikings would use as a form of currency.  Based upon metal finds from York (Jorvik - the Viking capital of England).

Originally, bangles such as this would weigh a Viking ounce (about 27g) and would be broken into pieces as a way of paying for goods.

Made from pewter, this bangle is cast and hand finished by Viking experts in Scotland.
