In Pylos, you want to be one who places the final ball on top of the pyramid. Sounds simple enough, right?

Players take turns placing their 15 balls on a game board. Once four balls have been placed next to one another in a square, a ball can be placed on top of them, forming a second level of play. Players can then place balls on this second level, eventually allowing a ball to be placed on the third level – and once that level is full, which requires only four balls, a final ball can be placed on the fourth level, with that player winning the game.

If a player forms a square of his own colour, that player can remove one or two of his balls (that don't support anything) from anywhere on the board and place them in their reserve, thereby giving him more balls to place in the future.

Each turn you'll move a piece according to the pattern on one of the cards, before passing it to your opponents.

Herd Mentality is a party game for families, friends and cow rustlers. The aim of the game is simple: think like the herd and write down the same answers as your friends.

If your answer is part of the majority, you all win cows. Yeehaw! If everyone else writes an answer that is matched by at least one other person, but yours is the odd one out, then you land the angry Pink Cow, and your herd of cows is worthless until you can offload it onto someone else.

The first player to collect eight cows wins.

All the snakes already know the answer, so their job is a bit simpler. To score points, they have to sabotage the discussion and mislead the other players.

Everyone plays at once in this fast-paced party game. Players have one minute to draw up to ten things from their category card. But not every doodle will do! To win points, other players must be able to guess what was drawn.

When the time is up, players pass around their drawings and try and guess what other players have drawn. If players guess a drawing right, then both the guesser and the artist score a point. After three rounds, the game ends and the player with the most points wins.

In Bang! Out of Order you don’t really need to know the answers… just decide what's higher or lower and line them up. It’s easy at the start; but as the facts stack up so does the tension!

Teams take turns adding cards to the scale - hopefully in the correct order! As the chain builds, so do the chances of it all being wrong. When you think the order has gone awry, slam your fist down on the table and shout “Bang! Out Of Order”.

If your hunch was right then huzzah! your team gets the points! But if the cards turned out to be lined up perfectly then the other team wins the round. It’s a bit of a gamble.

Circles, triangles, squares and diamonds: Drop It is about letting go, with the pieces you drop landing somewhere in the vertical game board, ideally where they'll score the most points, but the tiles bounce around and don't always land where you expect them to!

Each turn the active player drops one of their pieces into the slot of the game board. The player scores points for the highest level that the piece touches and for any special locations that it touches, but if the piece touches anything of the same shape or color, then you score nothing!

What's more, certain pieces are forbidden at certain spots on the edge of the playing area!

In The Quacks of Quedlinburg, players are charlatans, each making their own secret brew by adding ingredients one at a time. Take care with what you add, though, for a pinch too much of this or that will spoil the whole mixture!

Each player has their own bag of ingredient chips. During each round, they simultaneously draw chips and add them to their pot. The higher the face value of the drawn chip, the further it is placed in the swirling pattern, increasing how much your potion is worth. Push your luck as far as you can, but if you add too many cherry bombs, your pot explodes!

At the end of each round, players gain victory points and coins to spend on new ingredients to add to their bags, depending on the strength of the ingredients in their pots. But players with exploded pots must choose points or coins — not both! The player with the most victory points at the end of nine rounds wins the game.
