This full set of chess pieces are an accurate, scaled-down version of real find - The Lewis Chessmen - dating back to the 12th Century.

Discovered in 1831 on the Isle of Lewis, the Chessmen hark back to a time of feuding lords and brutal Viking invasions. 

Handmade in the UK, these detailed poly-resin reproductions were crafted using 3D laser scans of the real historical artefacts. 

This small set comes with a 22 cm diameter board, which the pieces can be stored safe inside in their precision-cut foam housing.

Housed in an attractive, foam-lined storage box, the largest piece in this midsized set (the king) stands at 4 cm tall.

An elegant chess set and board that will add some historical style to a room.
