This pendant is Gungnir, the spear of the Norse god Odin. Odin's followers wear this pendant for protection. The shaft is decorated with knot work in a Manx style ring chain. 

Made from pewter, cast and hand finished by Viking experts in Scotland, the Manx Gungir pendant comes with a black waxed cord to hang it from.
