How to play The Mind, a Psychic little card game.

The aim of the game
To win, become one with your team, laying down cards in numerical order without communicating!
To set up
- Separate the number, level, life and throwing star cards
- For 2 players use levels 1-12 and 2 lives
- For 3 players use levels 1-10 and 3 lives
- And for 4 players use levels 1-8 and 4 lives
- Your team also gets 1 throwing star
- Stack the level cards in numerical order, with number 1 on the top and put the rest away
- Place your life and throwing star cards next to the stack and the excess within easy reach
- Shuffle the number cards and deal 1 face down to each player, don’t let your teammates see!
To play the game
When you’re ready, put your hand face down on the table, once everyone has, it’s time to begin!
Whoever thinks they have the lowest card places it face up in the centre, then the next lowest, then the next lowest.
There’s no turn order, you can’t speak, signal or mime. You must lay down cards 1 at a time.
If someone places a number out of order, anyone with a number lower than the one just placed stops the game.
They reveal any lower numbers, put them aside and return one life card to the supply. Afterwards, play continues as normal.
If you successfully place all your cards in order without losing all your life, well done, you’ve completed level 1!
Reshuffle the number cards back into the deck and reveal level 2, this time dealing each player 2 cards. On level 3 you’ll get 3 cards each and so on.
Apart from level 1, completing levels will gain you a life or a throwing star, marked in the bottom right corner. Take these from the supply.
Throwing stars can be used when you feel stuck. If you want to use one, raise your hand. If everyone agrees, use it - return it to the supply, then everyone reveals their lowest card and discards them face up.
Game end
Keep playing rounds, using more cards each time and collecting rewards as you complete them until either, you complete all levels, or you run out of life!
For an extra challenge you can play blind mode, where
cards are laid face down and not revealed until the end of the level!
