The Doctor Who Stars Going to London Film & Comic Con 2018 | Happy Piranha
If you’re a fan of Doctor who there’s not just one but six doctors coming to the London Film and Comic Con 2018 at Olympia London! It’s not just doctors either, it's turning out to be a right Whovian get together.
Christopher Eccleston (Ninth Doctor)
London Film & Comic Con will be Christopher Eccleston’s first comiccon signing appearance ever! One of Christopher’s most well known roles was his portrayal of the ninth doctor in the revival of the Doctor Who series alongside Billie Piper. He also played Matt Jamison in the American drama series The Leftovers on HBO and appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor: The Dark World as the villainous Malekith.
Outside the big screen Christopher has appeared on stage in numerous productions and is playing the lead role in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Macbeth this year.

Peter Capaldi (Twelfth Doctor)
Peter Capaldi played the twelfth incarnation of the Doctor in the British television series of Doctor Who. Peter also played the spin doctor Malcom Tucker in critically acclaimed The Thick of It, for which he won the British Academy Television Award for Best Male Comedy Performance.
Amongst many other acting roles, Peter has also appeared in the Vicar of Dibley, Prime Suspect and in the TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s book Neverwhere as the angel Islington. He’s also had success as a director, winning the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film and the BAFTA Award for Best Short Film for his film Franz Kafka's It's a Wonderful Life.

Matt Smith (Eleventh Doctor)
Matt Smith played the 11th incarnation of The Doctor in the Doctor Who TV series. He is also the youngest actor to play the Doctor in the series too!
Smith started his acting career after joining the National Youth Theatre and playing in a variety of performances in London and the West End. His first TV role was in The Ruby in the Smoke and he’s since portrayed a multitude of awesome characters including Prince Philip in the Crown and Skynet in Terminator Genesis.

Tom Baker (Fourth Doctor)
Tom Baker is probably best known as the fourth Doctor in the Doctor Who series and one of the most recognizable ones at that! His voice was voted the fourth most recognizable in the UK after all and who could forget the fourth reincarnation of Doctor’s iconic multicoloured scarf? The Doctor Who cosplayers just wouldn’t be the same without it!
Starting his professional acting career in his Thirties, Baker has had an expansive career spanning form the 70’s to the present day both on stage, camera and as a narrator – you may recognise his voice from the series Little Britain!

Colin Baker (Sixth Doctor)
Colin Baker first appeared in Doctor Who as Commander Maxil in the story Arc of Infinity. He then played the sixth incarnation of the Doctor from 1984 to 1986. Baker is also the president of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society.

David Bradley is an actor who’s been in nearly all of our favourite things. He played Solomon in the 2012 episode of Doctor Who called ‘’Dinosaurs on a spaceship’. He also played William Hartnell (the original doctor) in the Doctor Who docudrama An Adventure in Space and Time and the first doctor in ‘’The Doctor Falls’’ and the 2017 Christmas special ‘’Twice Upon a Time’’.
David also played Argus Filch in the Harry Potter film series, Walder Frey in a Game of Thrones and Abraham Setrakian in The Strain. Other roles include the ITV series Broadchurch and the films Hot Fuzz, The Worlds End and Captain America: The First Avenger
He's also had a successful stage career, including a Laurence Olivier Award for his role in a production of King Lear.

Pearl Mackie (Bill Potts)
Pearl Mackie played the Doctors assistant Bill Potts alongside Peter Capaldi. In 2015, Pearl performed in the National Theater's West End production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time – we loved the stage production and design in that one! Pearl also appeared in the 2013 music comedy Svengali.

Bonnie Langford (Mel)
Bonnie Langford played Mel, the companion to the sixth and seventh doctors (Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy) in the original Doctor Who television series. Bonnie has also appeared in many West End and Broadway shows including Peter Pan, Cats, The Pirates of Penzance and Chicago. Since 2015 she has been a regular cast member of the BBC soap opera East Enders, where she plays Carmel Kazemi.
- Bonnie is attending on Sunday 29th July.
Jimmy Vee (Various)
Jimmy Vee is a stunt actor who’s played a variety of roles including the much loved robot R2D2 in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and a menagerie of monsters in the Doctor who series including Moxx of Balhoon, Bannakaffalatta, Graske and Skovox Bliter – quite a mouthful! He gets to put on all the awesome costumes and makeup, though we don't envy all the time sent in that R2D2 costume!

Jeremy Bullock (Tor)
Jeremy Bulloch played the bounty hunter Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy. He also played an imperial officer (Lieutenant Sheckil) in The Empire Strikes Back and appeared as Boba Fett in the fan film mocumentary Return of the Ewok.
Among other roles, Jeremy has also played Tor in Doctor Who: The Space Museum, appeared in three James Bond films including twice as Smithers, Q‘s assistant and played Edward of Wickham in Robin of Sherwood.

Noel Clarke (Mickey Smith)
Noel Clarke played Mickey Smith in the first two serives of the BBC revival of Doctor Who, becoming the series first black companion in the episode ‘’School reunion’’. He also revisited the role in two episode in later series – ‘'Journey’s End’’ in 2008 and ‘’The End of Time’’ in 2010. Noel also starred in the Doctor Who audio series ‘Dalek Empire: The Fearless’.
Among other roles Noel has starred in Star Treck: Into the Darkness, Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Casualty and Metrosexuality as well as winning a Laurence Olivier Award for ‘Most Promising Newcomer’ for his role on stage in ‘Where Do We Live’.

Paul McGann (Eighth Doctor)
Paul McGann is known for playing the eighth incarnation of the Doctor in the 1996 Doctor Who TV film. He also featured in 70 audio dramas and a 2013 mini-episode ‘’The Night of the Doctor’’.
Paul also starred in the 1987 comedy ‘Withnail and I’ – a film we really like!

Ingrid Oliver (Petronella Osgood)
Ingrid Oliver played Petronella Osgood – a UNIT scientist in ‘’The Day of the Doctor’’ and a character that had lots of fun costume extras relating to previous doctors.
Ingrid is one half of the comic double Watson & Oliver and has starred in various well known productions including Doc Martin, the Penny Dreadfuls and as Natalie in the Peep Show.

Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams)
Arthur Darvill is probably best known for his role as Rory Williams, one of the Eleventh Doctor's companions alongside Karen Gillan in the fifth television series of Doctor Who. We loved the dynamics between that duo! Arthur also played Rip Hunter in DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Reverend Paul Coates in Broad-church.

Tim Mcinnery (Klineman)
One of Tim McInnery’s earliest roles was as the memorable Lord Percy Percy and Captain Darling in the legendary Blackadder series. Amongst a long list of other roles Tim has also played Klineman Halpen in the Doctor Who episode ‘’Planet of the Ood’’ and Robett Glover in Game of Thrones - one of the Lords who declared John snow as King of the North.
