Take a look inside the Happy Piranha store at 18 Pydar street, Truro, Cornwall.
Happy Piranha have opened up a brick and mortar shop at 18 Pydar street, Truro, Cornwall.
Take a step inside, it's cold outside and we don't bite...
We've had fun designing and making all the displays and props. We look forward to taking these ideas further as things get started - we've got some quirky ideas in the pipeline and lots of ideas on how to give the shop a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Here's our favourite bits so far...
Leave your baggage at the door
Don't let your real world baggage wear you down. Various characters from some of our favourite fandoms have visited Happy Piranha HQ already and have left their baggage at the door. We bet there's some strange stuff inside these boxes. Can you guess who they belong to?
The gaming wall
Our gaming wall is home to our board game selection and other gaming related items. If you're a Nintendo fan you can probably guess what the shelves are inspired by!
We've also started stocking some board games in our online store and are looking forward to getting in some more. Let us know if there's any you'd like to see in the future!
The wizarding wall
The wizarding wall is inspired by some of our favourite fantasy. There's a blackboard full of potion ingredients and incantations. A badly performed spell has resulted in some tables being magicked half way through the wall. Mind yourself on the barrel of wildfire here too. The alchemists guild are always leaving their stuff around...
As well as our full range of hand poured, fandom inspired scented candles from our workshop of waxcraft and wizardy upstairs, we've also got a broad selection of magical and pop culture goodness for sale here.
What's next?
Now that we've got things set up, we're looking forward to expanding our offering both online and in store. We've got lots more geeky ideas for how to give the store an even more fun and fandomy atmosphere and we'll also get back to designing some new candles!
Make sure to follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for regular updates.
Most importantly, you are most cordially invited to come and visit our store, at 8 (and nine twelfths) Pydar street, and if you can't, we'll always be here for you online too!
